Lotus' quickest lap is right up there with the boys. Was that done on purpose or have they really caught up with the midfield?

Lotus main goal this weekend should be about getting themselves into Q2, so I wont be surprise they are running in qualifying trim.

Here is the good news:
The Red Bull’s times are still almost 5 seconds slower than last year’s pole.
Although I expect them to be there by the time the track is rubbered in, and they run on options in q3

Here is the bad news

Ain't bad for me as long as the man dominating is not Alonso. Should RB continue to dominate I'll just focus my attention on the Saubers and their fight for midfield glory. Go Kamui!

Personally I just plain enjoy F1. I would prefer that the championship isn't already decided by Japan

The only driver that can stop Vettel from running away with the victory is Webber. So lets hope mark can surprise us this weekend.

Regarding FP1:
Fernando has still to set a proper timed lap as he is doing aero testing at constant speeds
