Brakes stop the car. They don't make you slide into people. He hit Maldonado anyway so don't know how it would be "much worse".
Well, you cannot steer fully when on the brakes, so to stop enoguh you have to go pretty much forward. The space was not there to stop doing so so he would have hit.
Maldonado couldn't give more space otherwise he would have gone off line (onto the marbles) and slid into the barriers.
There was space enough to do so, it didnt even need that much space. Maldonado shouldnt just turn in.
If Hamilton wants to make a pass in that corner, he needs to be side by side with the driver he's passing.

Outside guy is on the limit of taken the corner.
And your point here is?
Inside guy on marbles and smaller radius can impossibly brake at the same place as the outside guy and expect to take the corner as normal.
Thatยดs A O in overtaking.
You have actually said nothing at all, I asked you how you have to overtake then. Since most of the overtakes come in braking zones where the overtaking guy is on the inside you have to explain it to me how they do that if that isnt outbraking. The guy on the inside has the advantage of the apex, plus he will brake a bit later. It is just basic knowledge, in our world that is.
He missed his braking point and got lucky that Kamui noticed it.
I personally would have turned right into Webber.
This is ridiculous. As I said before, if he just missed his braking point, what the hell is he doing in the middle of the track? Apart from that, the braking point is on top of the hill, jsut before you go down, he started braking there. You have to explain to me how driving way off line and braking at the braking point is 'missing your braking point'
