While Webber has not had the results that he had in the 2010 season so far, he is still a very talented driver, I think we can all agree on that. With another top-tier car (Ferrari, McLaren, Renault, Mercedes, and obviously Red Bull), he'll be in position to win a championship again.

Actually, Vettel's performance makes Webber's look worse than it is, really. He has collected points in all races and is 3rd in the WDC. He actually has one point more than last year after 6 races (79 now vs. 78 then).

It's just that Vettel is on top of his game.

And I'm convinced RBR likes it like this. Webber picks up whatever is left in Vettel's wake and does not compete with him. They sure would not want a repeat of last year.

I would love to see him finish his career at Ferrari with his buddy Alonso, but I doubt Ferrari would choose him over a younger talent.

I am sure Ferrari are watching carefully the young drivers currently on the grid. I doubt they will pick a driver at the end of his carrier.

"Is it time for Webber to join his good mate Alonso over at Ferrari?"
No.
He's competent; excellent on his day, but Ferrari should look to a younger driver with potential for growth.

Agree.
But moreover, he's a little too prone to mistakes and outright accidents, why he should be happy to be where he is.
