Would you rather have a close season, where several drivers are in the hunt for the title until the bitter end, but the individual races are dead boring, or a season where one or two drivers walk away with the title, but the races are really exciting, with passing aplenty?
Just thought that this would be interesting to see.

So would everyone, but I'm interested in seeing whether people would rather a season like this year, with hardly a quiet moment, but Vettel winning everything, or one like last year.
Really it's a hard decision for me, but I'd go with the exciting races lol.
Looking at stats, looking at points, looking at numbers is not that exciting. I dont care if 20 drivers are within 1 point at the end, if its boring racing who cares.
This year, Vettel has driven away from everyone but I dont care because when I turn the TV on every other weekend I see an awesome spectacle. Racing this year has been amazing thanks to Pirelli and DRS. I would much rather watch this.
I prefer exiting races, but not races where you get an awesome amount of fake overtakes by the DRS, or where you are 4 seconds a lap faster by the awesome Pirelli's. I want real racing, not this fake crap. They should make it a soap serie instead of a sport.

Last year had excting races (for the most part) and the championship battle was close.
Races have been quite good this year too, but when the same guy wins every time it all gets a bit too predictable, plus with the championship effectively won, there is little tension or drama.
I think the races this year has been very good, F1 really came through and in my opinion it´s never been as exciting as this.
Sure a few years back there was maybe one good battle during a whole race but now.
When was the last time you saw Alonso Vettel & Hamilton laying behind each others gearboxes and just gunning for it, balls to the walls
Fantastic so far and i expect this form will continue throughout the season.
Vettel wont win every race even though it seems like it.
IMHO the poll offers a false alternative: an exciting season is one in which there is a tight battle for WDC and WCC. That tight battle will perforce create exciting races -- or at least the anticipation of tight races. I do not look forward to races in which I believe there will be little competition at the front (this season). And I do not care about HRT and Virgin battling to see who will finish next-to-last rather than last. Just MHO.

As an old geezer, I actually prefer both slow and boring races and an utterly predictable season, that way I keep both my blood-pessure as well as ulcer in check, can we please have a third option?

3) Old Lawrence Welk re-runs?
4) Viagra?
Oops! that would be 4 options! Perhaps 4, followed by 3?

I'm not used to all the excitement on a Sunday afternoon, it's supposed to be a day of rest. After a few of the races I've had to go have a lay down!
A race at Monza like in the 70s, when cars actually overtook eachother, even broke down in the last laps at times, and moreover often went off the track into the armco in spectacular fashion with a flat tire, would surely kill me these days.
That's why I'm so happy with today's processions, this season with a dead-certain winner almost every time.

It's worth noting that the seasons with close championships have tended to throw up more exciting races than the seasons where 1 guy runs away with the championship.
