Nowhere in the snippet there is a statement of Brawn that they did this for Schumacher.
The text refers to Schumachers rocket starts helped by the short wheelbase due to more weight on the rear wheels...journo babble and mixing facts with things they want to see..Schumacher had always good starts or good first laps since his comeback .Thats a factor of his experience and eagerness nothing to do with the cars wheelbase. If that were the case both drivers would have exceptional getoffs again and again .Rosberg does not stand out in this.

true, Brawn didn't say that. Another article by motorsport-total said that

Michael just showed the most competitive race since his comeback and yaou could sense him getting a sniff at the podium brought out the best in him and no silly action dropping the ball.
Not many would have in his position NOT have crashed....so I think he´d laugh out load about the airbags for the old man joke and so should we.
He´s an old fart but you need to give it all to pass him and stay ahead.

Absolutely. The longer he drives the more I think he is one of the bests ever.
It doesn’t matter if he lost a few tents in qualifying compared to Rosberg. In the races he shows his real qualities. All the high rated drivers made stupid mistakes in Canada race except him. He doesn’t let you pass easily. Braking to the hairpin it sometimes looked like he tries to scare the others by letting the car slide in their direction.

He is like all the other drivers in F1 who need the best car to be successful. There will be special circumstances when they can win without a great car, but the engineers and cars do the real winning.

Schumacher was only good when in had exclusive tires developed for his style of driving.

He will never win again in F1!

In todays F1 you need a car that is competitive. If not then it doesn´t matter even if your name is Jesus.

Back then you could compensate slightly for a not so good car but today all that happens is you lock the brakes, you do stupid mistakes, or you crash.

Give Schumacher a good car (like the RBR for example) and he will win WDC i can guarantee it. He hasn´t lost one bit of his skills or reflexes.

Then I really want to see how Rosberg will rip the field apart constantly outpacing Shumacher
