Well, I've read the rules like a dozen times and I think yes.
What if McLaren engineers aren't aware of that? That would explain their silence.
A new promotion called All Wheels Wrestling will be taping footage at the Impact Wrestling Zone in Orlando on June 29th for a pilot episode on the Speed Network and a potential series in 2012.
PWInsider.com reports that the Speed Network had been looking to do a wrestling-related series for months. One of the holds ups would be who would own the property and the show.
TNA is involved with the taping, they have purchased the trademark and domain name for the property. NASCAR driver Hermie Sadler is involved in some capacity as well, helping TNA with material needed for the taping.
There are reports that Jeff Jarrett is involved with the taping, but that is not confirmed. The taping was also a surprise to some within the TNA office, as it wasn’t something being discussed internally.
Sorry for interrupting, guys.Pup wrote:So, you're saying I shouldn't start a thread on this...
I think you try to make a connection between sector times and delta times under SC. But they are not connected. One may have a relatively slow sector and still arrive at the check point ahead of his individual delta time.lebesset wrote:well , I started this thread , not because I didn't think a penalty was justified but because , despite looking through the sector times , I couldn't figure out what happened
I wondered if someone else could put their finger on it
seems not

Stop 1: Lap 8, Puncture, Wets to Inters. Pos: 14
In an attempt to salvage opportunity from disaster, McLaren put Button onto inters. The stop demonstrated how pitting under the safety car in Montreal is less costly than elsewhere, for while he crossed the start/finish line at the end of the pitlane in 14th, by the time he'd charged out into the pack at the first corner complex, he blended into 12th place, behind Pastor Maldonado.
The safety car made the tyre choice a little less risky in that there were four laps of slow running, which helped the track to dry further.
Unfortunately, during the safety car period Button had exceeded the speed limit, and that earned a drive-though.
Paddy Lowe: "Jenson got a drive-through for not meeting the safety car timing. He was a little bit too quick in one sector. In trying to make up the time he overcooked it."
He couldn't take the drive through under the safety car, and came in at the first opportunity after the green.

Caito, I think Lebesset is not protesting anything, just asking what happened.
