While Button's a bloody good driver, he can't touch Hamilton and co. (Alonso, Vettel,Rosberg). Same for Webber, Massa and old Schumacher (i mean the schumi of today).

As for the subject.

I'd want Lewis to stay at Macca and win many titles with them; real racers. Not just some 'fizzy drinks' company that do not have any F1 heritage and unsure to commit in the long term.

Besides, Newey's domination won't take as long as some people assume. Just ask Brawn and Byrne.

Enjoyed Vettels take on the speculation regarding this threads topic...from F1 site

Q: It was the talk of the town in Montreal that McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton paid a visit to the Red Bull hospitality to meet with team principal Christian Horner. Some German media have already ‘photoshopped’ an image of Hamilton in Red Bull overalls. What are your thoughts?
SV: Well, I don’t think that it suits him. We are so used to Lewis in the McLaren gear! If somebody else had popped into our facilities the fuss would just have another name, so it doesn’t make much sense to talk about these issues now, even if you guys like to provoke such topics. It is still early in the year so there’s no need to start the ‘silly season’ prematurely!
Generally I don't care about what people say. I have to be clear with myself. When everything goes well, people celebrate you, when you make mistakes people criticize you.

I can read the cautious fear in between the lines. The sweat beading off his forehead and a shiver in the jaw.

I get the impression andrew that sometimes,you are just looking for something to call out people fanboys.
I guess that is because the comment came out from ringo.He is the most passionate when it comes to Lewis fair play to him.
I'll put it in other words to you so you can maybe see what i think ringo meant...Lets bring yourself in Vettel's shoes.You driving for RB,the entire team is on your side,you are the champion.With all honesty,who would you really like to have as your teammate?Poor old humble Webbo or Alonso and Hamilton-as in this case?I am more than sure that you would choose the first or at least any other "average"/rookie driver safe option.

Hamilton being in Red Bull wouldn't change a lot. Red Bull officials love Sebastian. As soon as Lewis would start threatening Seb he would be either put in his place or would have to leave Red Bull entirely.

There is a difference between being passionate and reading too much into something trivial.

@Avto

Yes but since the team decides to bring such a driver in then it means that they dont love Seb thet much no?Also if we consider your statement being true then we already have the answer to the original poster's question which is a NO.I dont believe Hamiltons attitude matches the driver that will be put back to his place or have to leave the team entirely.Hamilton isnt that stupid to leave McLaren and go become Vettel's servant or Horner's puppy.
