Yeah, we should call them using only their names. Great idea. For example, I call them:

Lewise Am Ill Town (he's a wise man, perhaps too wise and Britons are sick worried for him)

Far-none-do Alone-so (so far, and yet so close)

My Keel Schumacher (they gave him this name because of its chin and nose, I'd guess)

The Avid Coulthard (for girls, I'd say)

Nick "O'Rose" Berg (life is rosy for him)

Robert Cube Its So... not (wise parents: the kid was thin)

All And Pro.. st (The Professor was different from the rest)

Feel I Pee Massa (disgusting, submissive, racist, all in one name)

One Mount Oh Yeah (my compatriot mounts on anything)

See Vast Young Bet Hell (maybe it points to encourage betting everything on him, being so young).

Born Hard Eek List On (I don't know what that means, I ran out of steam, but the clues are there)

Of course, I won't say anything about Jane Son Butt On. That's too easy.

BTW, Feelipee is doing well in Q2. Go, Far-none-do! Lewise hasn't crashed, a miracle.

Now, in Q3, Seevastyoung has shaven 8 tenths out of Feelipee, like if it were nothing.

English is not my mother tongue (it's more like my mother-in-law tongue) so I apologize for all the confusion I have about their names. They're hard to write, man.

An Eddie Jordan joke, as I recall, from when Tim[o] drove for him in 2003?

Re: Driver Nicknames

Well, sorry to be nitpicking but although Nando is "valid", the "true" nickname is Nano.

Nando is Castilian (short for Fernando) and Nano is Asturian (and complies with the international system of units, in which the symbol for Alonso is n). As the old and well known song goes:

The Nano is not human
The Nano is immortal
He appears in magazines
along Hulk and Superman

Nano is also short for Enano (dwarf). Or, short for "short", in English.

About Vettel nickname being Golden Balls, no wonder it hasn't been mentioned! When he gets older, I can imagine the jokes (you know the old and well know joke about the "Metal Age" that everybody undergoes when you are around 50 years old: you go from "Golden Balls" to "Golden Teeth, Silver Hair and Lead Balls").

Re: Driver Nicknames

Nando is an Aussie/English shortening of Fernando so as you say still valid. :)

EDIT: shortening or twisting Male names to 1 or 2 syllables (even if they are already only 2 syllables)is an Aussie tradition - eg my name is Derek and I will be occasionally called Dezza.

Are there any Fernandos in Australia? I mean, besides the one from the Abba song...

OMG. I cannot believe the many errors in this thread. Now, hT is the SI symbol for hectoTesla, not for Hamiltonne. The hT (hectoTesla) is the unit of thread flux density and let me tell you that I do not believe in coincidences. So, it might also be valid.
