Vettel must be feeling in cloud9 after this interview.

I am just curious who was bernie referring to when he say drivers being under the thumb of teams and sponsors.

Bernie's up Vettel's arse, this interview is nothing new.

I'd imagine most. The sponsors pay a lot of money and will want the brand to be reflected in a positive way.

Vettel deserves all the praise he gets at the moment as should any driver performing like him at the moment but when it comes from BE it just leaves a sour taste....
Generally I don't care about what people say. I have to be clear with myself. When everything goes well, people celebrate you, when you make mistakes people criticize you.

That was not a wise move for either of them in my opinion. It hints of the type of favoritism between Jean-Marie Balestre & Prost.

Has Bernie ever done an interview like this with previous champions?

yes I think so. Was it Alonso?

Anyway..Bernie once said that he would like for Vettel to sleep with one of his daughters or something to that effect.

Is Bernie's middle name "Pander"?

Actually Bernie's done it with JB; and with FA as well as LH I believe, so SV isn't really alone there. What he said about his daughters was along the lines of "I wouldn't mind having him as a son in law"
