...

Vettel is also the first one to cry over the radio "We cant race in these conditions its too dangerous" every time it drizzles a bit.

If this were Hamilton, boy oh boy. Suspension of F1 license for mouthing up pirreli. :P

The thing with Vettel is that redbull know that Mclaren have a tyre wizard in their garage and they don't.
The rb7 is being held back by the conservative pirelli's.
Anyone notice that it was half a second quicker at spa?

The car didn't change much. All that happened is that Mclraren learned about the pirellis in the past 3 races and used that knowledge to gain on redbull.
Having acquired some insight into the pirellis, Redbull are setting back things how the used to be; ie a half second gap.

Now whether they learned what Mclaren has is a mystery. But what seems apparent is that they can't achieve the same result as Mclaren in the same way. Their way of achieving the same tyre result is by cambering up the wheels more than normal.
This is what is annoying redbull. They can't achieve the same exploitation because their car warrants a different process to achieve it.

This could be BS, but i think it's something to this effect.
For Sure!!

Do you mean the Red Bull was half a second quicker, or the McLaren was half a second quicker?

I think RB and McLaren had an equal pace at SPA, which was masked by Button's bad qualy and Hammilton's bad top-speed setup ( probably gambling on rain + DNF ). I think if you take this into account, RB7 didn't had advantage in SPA. It was just their helluva good luck again. They would be in trouble without Hamilton's DNF, considering how much more Button can run on softs. Even the safety car period masked Vettel's problems a lot. I think that McL even had a slight advantage because of better tyre usage, which in normal conditions could win them a race. Unfortunately McL or Hamilton or Button always srews up something in every race. I think it's the only difference between those cars now.
There could be something with that camber angles, I agree..it was visible difference in Hungary too , but back then it was again masked the problem RB has, because there's no real high speed corner(s) in Hungary. I noticed that camber difference for a couple of races back, but it's so little difference that you can't tell for sure. Now in SPA it came into the light that indeed they're running more camber than others.

It will very interesting for the next race in Italy to see if this camber issue for red bull raises it's head on the tyres. It was very different indeed to see Vettel like that, I think that all drivers have that heated side to them but just play that old hide it away when every one is looking game.

I would say that thye will be discussing this issue more than we think with Pirelli.

I don't think it will tbh. Camber is a simple set up issue; it can be changed session to session (as long as regulations permit) and race to race. They will have learnt from Spa I feel; it was a real trial by fire of how to condition and/or manage the tyres when they were on the limit with blistering. I think Red Bull won't even have that much camber this race; decreasing the camber would help braking; which takes up some 12% of the lap. Or some statistic like that
