Engines and a newbie

Hey all,

I have been a a fan for a lomg time and have been stating to get more interest in the techical aspects and would love any info you guys have to read via pdf etc.

Thank you in advance


(Also any other info on aerodynamics etc would be great also) :D

There´s a thread about the notorious BMW V10 engines which is a good read.
Very cool to see how they evolved it over the years.
The truth will come out...

I'm not meaning to be cheeky but google is always a good place to start. If you type in "How does an engine work?" you will get many good hits :)
