Question about McLaren in the 90s

Hello,

I have been trying to find this info. all over the internet without a definitive confirmation, so I decided to try here too: does anyone know if the 1991 and 1992 McLarens (mp4/6 and mp4/7 and their b models) had 1) traction control 2) active suspension and 3) semi-automatic gearboxes? Any help and link to the info. would be greatly appreciated.

The MP4/7A was the first to use a semi-auto gbox. The MP4/7B was the first to experiment with active suspension.

I *believe* that the MP4-8 was the first to feature all 3.

Yes, this is what I found on the MP4/7B, "A variant of the car, dubbed MP4/7B, featuring an experimental active suspension system, was introduced in testing for that year's Portuguese Grand Prix. It proved sufficiently unreliable that it was not used for the remainder of the 1992 season." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McLaren_MP4/7A).

I am, however, having difficulty finding info. especially about traction control on the 1991 and 1992 cars (MP4/6 and Mp4/7)...

I know the MP4-8 had TC. Not sure about the -6 and the -7

The 94 mp4/9 was running illegal software for traction and downshift, how come no one talks of it?
