Post here all non technical related topics about Formula One. This includes race results, discussions, testing analysis etc. TV coverage and other personal questions should be in Off topic chat.
I'm pretty sure that the only cameras in use during testing are the ones used by photographers and TV crews recording footage to use later in the year. The only coverage of testing is text commentary as far as I know.
Anyway, I'm sure that it would be immensely boring! I know that practice sometimes bores me, so testing, where you have fewer cars and have no idea what anyone's doing, would bore me to death...
And not only that, but it lasts aall day long so they couldn't possibly broadcast all of it. But perhaps even quality highlights and summaries of all of the teams activities would be more than welcome.
That's the situation where online-only broadcast could really shine. TV channels ( or even FIA ) could put it online very cheap, and fulfill the needs of F1 community. No need for commentators, just put it online. We are here to comment
