And we have a winner!

The blue-eyed Sicilian was carrying a french passport of course, but his temper was a giveaway.

That was John Barnard when Ferrari were offering him buckets of cash and he did not want to go to Italy. I remember reading that he offered to work form England and as they were desperate they agreed.

B3? Was that his company?

Yes you are right. Found the quote with a lot of interesting stuff here:

http://www.insead.edu/facultyresearch/a ... nPaper.pdf

a paper that describes ferrari's approach to uk-based knowhow in different decades.
Very interesting read especially this season, where we have seen a lot of ferrari department leaders being substituted by ex mclaren guys

No, not HANS. I seem to recall that Rubens was one of the guys not wanting to wear it though?

This was a test of something on the car.

After this test, the idea was dropped...

Indeed - Brake Lights.

Triggered by the deceleration rather than from the pedals.

It was a strange thing to test eh?

HANS from 2001! Man, time flies. Who was the driver that had arm cramps? Justin Wilson?

Anyways, your go Shelly

Is it Chris Horner? Monza 2010? Or Monza 2011?

Not Horner.

Hint: the author of the quote has solved the problems he had with Italian marshalls, now I think they do get along well
