If I would be MSC I would go for PPPO, he can't loose anyway, only win with the luck he has this year :(

But I think either he will have an accident into Turn 1, a mechanical failure or he can make it to P10, that would at least fulfill his series with 0-1-0-1 Points :x

16 7 M Schumacher 29.999 [16] 41.290 [19] 23.196 [10] 1:34.485
His mistake in sector 2 of his first lap made it even worse... His sector 3 time with hards was on soft level...

Yep. Would be nice to see a Schumacher on the charge. Haven't seen him really aggressive in a while.

I'd love to see him really on a charge like the good old days.

I have a feeling we will see something special from the old man tomorrow. With the way races are unfolding this year, one really cant rule a driver of his caliber out. And for a change, the DDRS will be used much more in the race :D

Imagine if Schumacher on equal tyres with Rosberg starts lapping 0.5s quicker on the laps he can use DDRS!

FIA would ban the device by Barcelona

Too close to Karthikeyan, that is a bit worrying...

Bernie would be thrilled if Schumy puts on a show so maybe they'll let it go. :D

And Karthikeyan hasn't caused any accidents during race starts this year so why the worry?

I am really gutted by what has happened to MS. Previous years, I had to worry about MS making mistakes and now its the team that is taking care of it.
But on the other hand it would be good for us and for him as well if he comes charging through field. With conservation philosophy of Pirelli tyres he has mentally become a bit conservative as well.

I think MS should start on primes and stay longer in first stint when other with options are going to pit early. And if the people at front come behind him after their first pit stops, he would be slowing them down to an extent. Then at first pit stop he could have a short quick stint on options and just pit a couple of laps earlier than the front runners come in for their second stop.

Maldonado, Senna, Massa, Hulkenberg & Kobayashi are the more risky ones as Schu starts to make his way up the order during the first few laps.

The way I see it, either his race is over right in the first few laps due to an incident, or an attempt at a 4-stopper ends badly given 4 chances to screw things up in the pits again, or he has a storming race and finishes with a healthy haul of points. But given his irrepressibly miserable luck this season so far, that last option would only seem remotely possible to me after Raymond gives him a flower bath.

EDIT: Just realized that Maldonado will drop back 5 places due to a gearbox change. That means Petrov the dive-bomber will be the more immediate threat from behind during the first few corners.

I rather think he will try to make full use of the many fresh sets of tyres he has at his disposal...going for an early stop getting himself out of sequence with the others he should be in position to be on fresher rubber almost the whole race .

But then: all teams will suffer from huge degradion anyways and will be forced to pit more often than planned..as close competition will not enable them to nurse their tyres...

Ross Brawn, Schumacher, Rosberg and the Merc team have all never said that they were in contention for the WCC or the WDC. But they have quietly gone about making the car stronger.

I wonder a few races down the line we might see a Merc that actually might be in contention. The season is quite wide open this time. And it might not be about race wins but consistent points and podiums and an occasional win.

Merc, RBR and McLarens are the three teams who have two drivers who are both extremely good. Ferrari are on the backfoot because of Massa and Lotus is up in the air really. I can't predict how Grosjean will really do.
