Overtaking's ok in Bahrain actually. It was 2010 that was the odd one out. Before 2010 overtaking has been ok in Bahrain. Add in a DRS now and Pirellis and we could be in for a cracking race.

If GP2 is anything to go by, overtaking will be just fine if you have the pace over the car in front.

The race just finished and there was some seriously awesome racing going on.

GP2 has had a history of being able to overtake at places where even a DRS/Pirelli-laden F1 hasn't been able to

Interesting Nico says his setup is race-biased. I think that's a bit of a copout if I'm honest - he clouted a few inside kerbs, he was too aggressive on the throttle and getting wheelspin several times; and locked up at several corners.

Agreed if not for the mistakes he had a good shot at the front row.

Yeah definitely noticed that.

After three races, Vettel finally manages to snuck one in on Webber. Meanwhile at McLaren, Lewis makes it 4-0 against Button. Wonder where else it's 4-0 ? Yeah you guessed that right... Ferrari. Is anybody else 4-0 up on his team mate ? Too bad Lewis can't keep it up in the races though, the endurance style formula really doesn't suit him. He'd be 'murdering' Button otherwise as Eddie Irvine said back in 2009. He is now the only driver to score a front row in quali and a podium in every race thus far. Hope he manages to keep it up tomorrow.

Yeah I was like  :o :? #-o :D most of the time. It was real entertainment, too bad F1 can't provide us that :|

I'd love to see a race some time this year where there are 2 strategies, one with 1 more stop, and the one with more stops is an overall 5seconds quicker over a race, then seeing Jenson on the less-stop strategy and Lewis on the more-stop. See how that pans out.

funny Nico plays identical surprise when hearing about Michaels technical issues -excatly as he did with RTL ..does his memory work completely independend when being asked in german and english, maybe??

The more I think of it the more i have the idea that Schumacher deliberately let Rosberg shine in those last two years after he realised there was no way to win a race let alone a championship with W02 or W01 and instead concentrated on avoiding animosity between drivers .

slowly getting fed up of drivers having to save tyres. drivers having to conserve during the race. drivers not being able to drive flat out. qualifying being about saving tyres. tyres wearing out after 10 laps. tyres destroying someones race because they couldnt get in the correct temperature zone.

bring back refuelling. bring back durable tyres which last 20 laps with no problems. i want to see flat out stints again between refuelling.
