Tp you were comparing a gutted-out 360. And it still loses to the Corvette.
Loses to a C5 Z06.
Obviously a Ferrari is more desirable but who in the hell has the money to afford one? At least the Z06 is affordable to a lot more people in the world. I haven't even included dealer markup, insurance, and service.
Read the forum I posted earlier before you say something about American cars. Whoever said American cars were crap is retarded. I have heard the same things about the Italian car industry.
Although my brand loyalty has been down to Toyota and Nissan, I don't see the point in comparing cars from other countries. Each country has their good and bad cars; some more than others. We don't even drive these cars so what's the point in comparing?
Bring back wider rear wings, V10s, and tobacco advertisements
The whole European-American its an endless battle.
Take a look at it this way:
The americans like big bore V8's that push more fuel through its carburettors in a second than an small african country sees in a year.
The yanks keep building them cause their people like it that way (there's a whole cultural historical element to it) and as long as they keep 'gas' on the cheap everybodies happy.
In Europe cars are revered for being state of the art, effcient and cutting edge. BMW are prime examples of this, how they push the boundaries with every new release. Sh*t man, the new magneto damping system on the Ferrari 599GTB, i first heard of it roalling out on a US army prototype Hummer.
Amerians are gonna love there cars and theres nothing a European car lover can do about it.
And i guess vice versa for the Europeans.
Personally tho, the Ferrari 599GTB is a God amongst cars. And i think deep down guys that make american cars are thinking they're 10yrs behind. if they do, i doubt they care much. untill the oil price goes up that is....
Did anybody see Jenson Button on the last episode of season 8 on Top Gear?
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

Shame he didn't beat Mansell, but they did say Mansell had more practice laps. Being 3 tenths (I think) behind Stig isn't bad considering how many zillion laps Stig has done of that track.

Also I think Mansell had 3 days of practice too on that track.
Also Powerslide...is there something wrong with Road and Track?

GMs are very good with their EPA cycle based fuel economy, they are also very good at putting a real tall 6th for that exact reason......
That is not to say though they are gas guzzling in real life, most corvettes can indeed do 20+ mpg in regular driving, provided that does not including pushing your car everywhere you go.
