I hope this is a joke

Fernando Alonso goes into qualifying on Saturday with a two second penalty in each of the three qualifying sessions - after a baulking incident with Robert Doornbos and a yellow flag incident.

The stewards concluded that Alonso's actions were "unnecessary, unacceptable and dangerous" and decided to give him a one second penalty in each of the Q1, Q2 and Q3 sessions. He was also given the same penalty for passing a car under a yellow flag so Alonso will have two seconds of penalties in each session.
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

Why doesn't Mosley send few guys from Waffen SS to kill Fernando instead making this last so long?!

FIA f*cks Renault one week ago, than FIA stewards f*ck them again and now championship leader is being punished because backmarkers is shitty cars don't know how to let faster drivers pass by? I think Renault should boycott the race and season because what they get from FIA is far from fair treatment.

Ubermensch will be "the greatest driver” again.

I'm sick of this!

Alonso receives two-second penalty
04 August 2006 / Photos

Fernando Alonso was penalised by the Stewards on Friday for dangerous driving in front of Robert Doornbos during free practice. Doornbos was, according to Alonso, blocking him and thus when Alonso was able to overtake him he deliberately went slowly in front of Doornbos.

Apart from the Spaniards incident with Doornbos Alonso also overtook him under yellow flags. Both incidents will cost him one second each during qualifying.

For Alonso it will be almost impossible now to make it to the final knock-out round in qualifying with a total of two seconds being added on his qualifying time.

he didn't park the car in qualifying would be one thing, this was in a practice and he didnt cause any damage to any cars or to there qualifying times.

The difference is simply, Alonso was a prat for doing this and getting his knickers in a twist when its only free practice and schumi is basically a cheat.

What he did was against the rules so he should be punished. Even for the good of the sport they (Stewards) should not be hypocritical.

.......Seems Alonso is just starting to crack under the pressure, especially compared to the start of the season.

The problem is that if other drivers did this during the free practice sessions of other GP's earlier this year, they got other sanctions than Alonso. So it's a bit suspicous you must say!!

the topic off shuumacher cheat is over a long time ago but some people like manchild only see one side of the story as allways

sumacher cheat ..i dont realy now and i dont care i pay for that

alonso put in risk another driver life ..i m not comparing the 2 beacause it stupid and woud see like i m taking a side the point is simple alonso did a stupid thing and e pays for it.

fia did not take a hand in this whend you are fighting for a championship you try to keep the cool ..if alonso did no make this that were not even be a chance fia to pout a hand on this

According to me Janus, you're the one that only sees one side of the story and don't throw durt at Manchild if he can't defend himself!

It has happened before this season that a driver during the free practice session overtook under yellow flag and they were NEVER punished with this kind of sanction. So why does Alonso get this sanction and not another one?? Please be a bit realistic!

Could you name a couple of them? Did you see the video, or you just say that you do not like the punishment? Personaly (and yes, I have see the video), I think that a WDC should not ever do something like that.

BTW, Alonso get punished because of the first incident. Just a short description of the case for everyone that had not see the video:
Alonso passes Doornbos at the start/finnish straight. Alonso is on the left side and when he passes turns to the right. Doornbos was traveling with over 200Km/h that time.
At the end of the straight, Alonso brakes normally and when he reaches the apex brakes test Doornbos.

Now, the yellow flag. I had not see it, I cannot say anything, but I can speculate that the stewarts penalized him because he made 2 mistakes in one hour. We are talking about FP here....

Principessa the point of overtook i agree whod you but in f1-live.com says that alonso was punished 1 second for that and 1 second for test braking the read bull teste driver robert d.

my point was dont put the blame on fia this time alonso put a life of a driver in risk and pay for it is was stupid ..and e agree that 1 second for the yellow flag is stupid but for the brake test it s right

about manchild e have is msn adress e can defend himself :)
