Does the track layout suit Lotus as well?
I don't know that I necessarily agree with that. In my view, the Hungaroring is the epitome of an aero track - like a mini-Silverstone - because it doesn't have any stop/start corners. As such, it should suit Ferrari and Lotus pretty well.n smikle wrote:This track has traction written all over it.
They're all "flowing" corners - not angular ones. In that sense you're right, but there are no really quick corners here other than T4. They're all slow-medium.bhallg2k wrote:I don't know that I necessarily agree with that. Alonso IIRC. Don't remember much elsePNSD wrote:Ones I recall are first Damon Hill win, first Button win, first Heikki win, first de la Rosa podium (IIRC?). Must be a few more?
You're absolutely right. I just don't make a distinction between fast flowing corners and slow flowing corners, because drivers take each as fast as the aerodynamic efficiency of their car will allow.raymondu999 wrote: They're all "flowing" corners - not angular ones.
