It´s not wanted it´s not useful it´s not there.
Don´t mix up marketing with technology ..direct injection is not happening in formula 1 ,a paddle shift gearbox of VW or BMW has not much technology in common with LMP or formula 1 technology -safe the paddles obviously-the weight penalty for such a box is around 40kg as I understand...Newey would kick out his complete design team if they came up with something like this.
CF production methods in F1 are strictly Autoclave -no ways a mass produced part could be made along those lines.Maybe some RP technology filters down to Automotive Developmnent-Through the suppliers -as these have to hurry up in a world that needs shorter and shorter leadtimes in the development process..but that´s not really something supported or lead by the OEMs it´s the suppliers who look elsewhere as they see they need to be more efficient to make money with all this.
