Guys I have a question about pit stops. Mercedes have had some very good pit stops for the past two seasons. It doesn't seem to be the case this season. But hey that's just me.

i think they are allowed to change gearbox for Monza. next week it's a nice track for them.... fast and very slow corners. Hope they put on car new device. and today pit stop was so fail 4.3 sec ....

But isn't there a rule that they can repair a defective component ?
Maybe the box is salvageable?

i'm not sure but at 5 race you can change gearbox ... last time for Michael was ??? i have no idea.

He had new box this weekend coz he didn't finish last race

yes, you can change gearbox free of any penalty , if you didnt finish the last race

The more we hope from this team...the more they disappoint. Today was the perfect example of it, clearly its a known fact that the w03 is high on tyre wear yet they put MSC on a 1-stopper, i mean it was a sure top 5 finish if it was a proper 2-stop. Those guys clearly dont know their own car...seeing those pitstops again one of the strengths last year, they hav managed to lose it too. Cant help but feel sorry for MSC n ROS, clearly they deserve a better team than this.
Ofcourse i'd love to be proven wrong if they sumhow eventually manage to sort out the cars n all the other things but u know at the back of your mind that aint gonna happen, atleast not this year..
