For once i had the right feeling with MGP on the very competitive side in monza...let´s see if Schumi can string together a perfect weekend.

These are the times that the principal drivers have done today in their long respective simulations.
X-Axis: The time per lap - 60 seconds (for convenience)
Y-Axis: Number of laps (Aprox all of them have done 15 laps, the lines are trendlines)

The best times are for Michael with a descent tire degradation. I think that he and Rosberg are the favorites for this GP.

Because they have to choose a selection of gears at the start of the year, and they'll have chosen relatively low ones in order to play to their strengths, rather than comprimising their strengths just to still lose at monza.
Are you sure such rule is in force ATM?

Yes this rule is in effect. 30 gear change ratio pairs are allowed per competitor which must be declared to the FIA at or before the first event of the season.

Thanks. Didn't know about it and thought fixed number of ratios is planned only for 2014.

I think this drops to 8 when the new donks come in, but with a "joker" ratio allowed at some stage during the year.
