
Half race distance would be lap 26-27. They were on lap 23 and 24, but they were switching to the harder tyres, and the track is more rubbered in. It was a stupid move on his part as is...and will be even more so if he gets any sort of penalty out of it. Although I doubt he will get anything beyond a warning at worst.

Nope, the Sky commentators are wrong on that rule.
