What might this consist of ? maybe they found a set of dumbo ears in one of the lockers and nobody remembers what they were good for...
I seriously ask : when did MGP or ANY of its former iterations come up with an upgrade you could actually see making a real difference in terms of pace?
...
I still believe that at least part of the problem comes from the three kings. For all of my humble design-engineering xperience,
no alfa-dog wants to work and improve on somebody else's mousetrap, he wants to design his own. Simple as that.

Are you with me marcush?
100% true.
Everyone wants to make his mark .You just don´t want to make the piece of s..t you had to inherit from Mr Bigois looking like a masterstroke..It´s an orphain at best ....
I cannot imagine those three +ross +elliot ness work well together ..i could be wrong but by the looks of things we do not see any evidence of a steep rise of performance.
The idea of three kings had absolutely no impact on in season development as of yet .Admittedly the car was miles better than W02 in terms of relative speed but we all agreed willis and even more Costa could only have an impact after Barcelona this year-coincidenting with their fall flat on the face.
Bell seems to have brought something to the table that got lost by hiring more kings again.?

The Magny Cour's test should allow the team to test a few upgrades.

I don't understand how Mercedes can post the fastest and 3rd fastest laps of the race and yet be nowhere.

They are still trying to understand their tires.

Don't worry...soon the 3 kings and the messiah will have the answer for what they need to do from here on out.

Don't worry though Marcus...

Before you know it, it will be February, and we will be seeing the evolution of the world-beating, Brawn GP01, as it takes on the form of the W04.

The W04 promises to have input from everyone on the team.

Rest assured, it will be capable of competing for about 3-4 races.

giggle....
Schumi said he would have needed 2 more laps to gain two positions.
So both drivers were on wrong strategies ,simple as that.
Mercedes operate sub in all areas -apart of drivers.Even though I see Rosberg now already as No2 Driver ,even his win will not change this and Michael has clearly made a statement confirming this in postrace interiew : I have overcome my qualy weakness and come race day I could never find any advantage of the other guy....oops.

+1 Merc should have an interesting raft of updates for their machine. They know they need .500 to be a race winner, so if they find .3-.400 I would be happy. Finding that much time would require some very effective upgrades though, so let's hope their brain trust manages to come together and work this thing through to the end.

Today was an example of how reprehensibly sensitive W03 is. The car had horrid pace on full fuel loads then performed like a different car altogether on lighter loads. What a finicky machine. That back end of theirs better be working in Singapore.

Hopefully the other cars do not improve even more as well

I feel as if Nico is just occupying space Marcus.

Every race, I look at Nico, and it takes a moment to register that he actually exists at as MGP driver.

To be fair though, the W03 still has rear tire wear issues. They were struggling for rear end grip before anyone else was. I think they lucked out with the pit stop strategy more than anything this weekend. There's such a small window to get a 2 stopper right if everyone else goes for 1 stoppers.

I do have to give Michael credit at this point because it's clear he's the only thing capable of giving MGP a somewhat professional appearance due to his driving. If it was just Britney and some slag like say Sutil, that team would be an even bigger joke than it is currently. Britney can't keep up with Michael any longer...if I were Britney I'd be asking Mr. Moustache for tips on new career choices.

Does that come from your private crystal-ball or is it just wishful thinking?

@marcush:
I cannot believe that the three kings was in any way Bell's idea, no alfa-baboon would come up with a concept like that.

Naah, I think it's more of a reflection of Ross the Toss and his obvious inexperience of managing outside the incubator,
I'm actually surprised that Willis and Stallone went along with the idea, but money talks I guess?

I think people people are assuming that if a team has not brought updates since Monaco, they should be overdue for them.

Of course that would also assume that this is a well-run F1 team...which we all know is no longer the case.

When Ross was interviewed before the race...I kept thinking, "How does someone like this become a Team Principal?"

Best part of the race today was:

Team radio:
Box: "Michael, we need 3 qualy laps, push now."
MSC: "Are you joking?"

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad :(

the rear of his car was already sliding around when they would have said that  (messages are delayed by a few mins)

i thought they should have pitted him before rosberg as he was clearly losing time
