Did Michael really reply with that? I never got that only the former.Ganxxta wrote:Best part of the race today was:

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad

What is even more amazing is why DrZ has not replaced him yet, it must be perfectly obvious to the suits by now that the man is fake thru and thru, that his main role with Ferrari was to be MrM's ambassador to the the preferred winners?SeijaKessen wrote: ...
When Ross was interviewed before the race...I kept thinking, "How does someone like this become a Team Principal?"

On the other hand, Nico seems to be driving nervously, bad and race after race he fades away in oblivion. Maybe MSC finally decided to play hard-ball on a mental level like he did with his other team-mates in the past? Funny thing, the "old and finished" driver to be putting such performances together while the young one to seem so mediocre without the fancy EBD. Vettel too seems to have lost his mojo, thats why I speak of EBD, maybe the only thing linking them.
As for Crap-cedes, I really hope that the Singapore update consists of a new exhaust and some rear downforce or else we should start preparing ourselves for Sauber passing us in the WCC.
It's a pity that the car is such a crap that he cannot fight at the front. Kimi is so lucky Lotus have a competitive car.zyphro wrote:+1.diego1960 wrote:I am so proud of Michael, he seems race after race to perform at the car's limit, driving beautifully, completely focused and professional. Michael is driving brilliantly, what a shame. I don't care what the points say: Michael's consistently performed better than Nico this season. I'd even go as far as saying he'd be commanding position to challenge for the title in a more consistently competitive car.
I feel like he must have some sort of dirt on the FIA going back through the Ferrari years, and the Benetton years that has caused MGP to get strong-armed into keeping him.xpensive wrote:What is even more amazing is why DrZ has not replaced him yet, it must be perfectly obvious to the suits by now that the man is fake thru and thru, that his main role with Ferrari was to be MrM's ambassador to the the preferred winners?SeijaKessen wrote: ...

Indeed; he wouldn't be so competitive in a W02/W03.Morteza wrote:

At least thats what 2 of my friends and me understood in that moment...zyphro wrote:Did Michael really reply with that? I never got that only the former.Ganxxta wrote:Best part of the race today was:

You know what they say, it's about "know who" far more than "know how", but this guy is still a completely different animal altogether, starting out as a milling machine operator with MrM's old March outfit, can you believe it?SeijaKessen wrote: ...
I firmly believe that based on his success with MGP --Brawn GP does not count as there was nothing to build with that team other than shoehorning a Merc engine into the car-- he was not instrumental one bit to Ferrari's success during the Todt/Schumacher years. He was as you say, MrM's ambassador at best. Technical director? I think not.

+1 Merc should have an interesting raft of updates for their machine.

With your xperience of Mercedes/Daimler, would it be typical of that company to let a subsidiary drift around like this?
