Something is very uncertain for me at the moment, but now it is getting clearer for me. Some weeks ago, Schumacher hinted that he will be sort his future in October. It was before the whole Hamilton - Mercedes saga comes in the picture. So how Michael knows that early that he can decide on his future in October.

When Michael said he will decide in October, at that time it was clear for Merc that they want another guy because of future purposes.

It is very interesting how Michael will decide but I wish him a great drive somewhere else.

Anyway from the Mercedes perspective it is a good move (if it is true) because now a British team has a British driver, a very fast driver. It will be a clear comparison that how good is now the current driver line-up at Mercedes.

So if this is what its all come down to then sending massa down to sauber and a schumacher return to ferrari could only spice up the season next year ? Alonso said himself if massa is to be replaced then it should be by someone who is better than him ? Makes sense.

Massa will probably stay again (although Mike would be faster i think) for 1 more season, after which he will be replaced by Vettel. Schumi will just be forced to retire again...Sad.
I would like to see him with Ferrari again, but that aint gonna happen...like ever

There is no space at lotus, plus schumi wont go there anyhow me feels.

Ferrari, slight possibility, but knowing the heat between monty and MS, i dont think so...more wishfull thinking from our side

Sauber will always be midfield type team. Somehow I would rather see him retire again, than go there.
