Webber has failed in three very favourable chances to win his home race.. I have given up on that long ago.

I agree he had chances but I haven't lost hope.

Although I think Webber is a good driver....he tends to choke occasionally when the pressures on....at home. Mind you, Vettel is the teams golden boy. 2010 should have been Webber''s home victory.

Forget about the showers - look at the temperatures!

If it is nearer to the predicted minimum than the max, and there is a lot of cloud cover, track temperatures may not be too much above the Barce testing temps.

I think it will be dominated by Vettel (or even Red Bull), but Alonso will not too far away. Behind him are the Lotus drivers, than just the McLaren's and Mercedes'.

He chokes every year after summer break.
At the start he´s very good but he just dies for some reason.
The only time he was close to getting the title was because his teammate messed up and had reliability issues.

Good Qualifier though.

IMO he can't take title pressure and goes too conservative or too aggressive (depending on his mood). Also, he seems very bad on all Tilke circuits. I wonder... Is it something in the way Tilke designs his circuits? Or perhaps a manufacturing thing, eg Webber doesn't like the type of asphalt Tilke's contractors use?

Is there any change out to the layout of the Kerbs this year in Melbourne (like the curb extended at T4 exit) ?

My prediction for Qualy

1 Vettel
2 Alonso
3 Webber
4 Button
5 Massa
6 Groj
7 Perez
8 Kimi
9 Ros
10 Ham/ Hulk

Ps - This can is wildly off the target in Qualy ,like shooting and arrow in the dark :D
