Unable to vote on threads. Not sure whether that's a big deal or not. I'm happy to go back to the PC to do this.
That won't be possible.
Tapatalk is an app designed by a third party to work with the standard features of phpbb.
Features that were added by me on f1technical are therefore not supported there.

I have to admit it's handy, as I get notified of new PM's immediately!

Howdy, I just recently got Tapatalk and am loving it but my only beef is that f1t spams me with push notifications for every single post made in a topic I'm subscribed to.

I only get the one instant email saying a new post has been made as per normal and don't get another till I've views that post.

Any one else having this issue?

Some news:
- The new app Tapatalk 4 is now free!
- A new version for Windows Phone is now also available

When you open the app, search for "f1technical" and you'll find us ;)

Short report about tablets and site usage - it's very nice experience under Acer Iconia A210, including the forum.

Tapatalk is a bit confusing on itunes, they have 3 versions running, the oldest has the highest charge!

- The free app is called "Tapatalk - Community Reader", latest is v1.17.1, dated 28 June
- "Tapatalk 2 - Community Reader" has a charge - £2.49, dated 21 June
- There is also an HD version for the pad - £2.99, dated 4 Dec

Tapatalk changed their pricing scheme, and the new apps for all platforms are free.
There is really no reason to get any older version.

@djos : Fixing the notifications is I think very difficult as I would need to tamper with the tapatalk codebase. I presume F1T behaves exactly the same as any other forum used with tapatalk.

Hi toomba, can you feed this back to tapatalk then? I've noticed it's not just F1T that it sends a push notification for seemingly every single post.

Sure I can. Which app / OS are you using?

I think tapatalk 4 is the server software? The apps are still at v2 for iOS and Android. So the change means it's free for forums owners, and they are looking to get all their revenue comes from user subscriptions.

Hi mods, I'm noticing a bug with the latest version of tapatalk, it's happening to me on a couple of forums (not all so might be a sever version issue) where if I reply to a topic and then edit that reply to fix speeding mistakes, I get unsubscribed to the topic.

I then have to bring up participated topics view and resubscribe to the topic.

Hi Tomba, can you please update tapatalk to latest (pb30_4.2.0) version? Seems that either the move to new server has broken it, or the installed tapatalk serverplugin is too old. Latest posts category doesn't show anything and sometimes I even get errors.

Forums on iOS is another option. No need for Tomba to manage plugins. :)
