This is the "RUSH" starting grid of Mount Fuji in 1976 !
Who can spot a big mistake ?
I was 1 year old in '76, but with the magic of google I think, fifth position on the grid should have been car number 3Sombrero wrote:http://www.filmosphere.com/wp-content/u ... Rush-1.jpg

odd that such a big bucks movie would get something like that wrong, they have people who's only task it to get thingsSombrero wrote:http://www.filmosphere.com/wp-content/u ... Rush-1.jpg
Yes you're right ! Strange things happened to car #4 ! It's not only in the false grid position but also driven by the "false driver" as you can easily reconize Jody Scheckter's helmet in Patrick Depailler's car. You can check it with several of the original 41 pictures that I found on Motorsport Magazin Com
It's not that odd, really. There are far bigger mistakes and continuity errors in bigger budget movies. As long as it doesn't get in the way of the story, only boffins like us will notice it anyway.langwadt wrote:odd that such a big bucks movie would get something like that wrong
