Short question: What is todays rule about track limits? Are you allowed to cross the white line? Or are you only allowed to leave the track if you get no advantage? And if yes, how does the FiA meassure this? Or does Charlie Whiting allow driving beneath the track but not on the track? Or do we drive the circuit reversed? Or does he flip a coin wether a driver gets a penalty?
Or are you allowed to leave the track if you don't fight for a position? Then all who are in a fight are disadvantaged towards those driving alone which can leave the track whenever they want?

Indian GP: Pirelli wants limited tyre running on safety grounds
Some interesting developments.....http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/24690717

Apparently the FIA will not sanction Pirelli's request.
This just proves that Pirelli requires some teams to test tire compounds to better improve the quality / safety of Formula 1 tires but instead of using any of the top teams they should use teams like Caterham, Marussia, Williams etc not Ferrari, RBR, Mercedes or Lotus. (my opinion).
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

Any tyre supplier would need alot of testing. That's why I think alot of the flak Pirelli receve to overly harsh.

Hamilton is consistently slow in S1 and quick in S2 suggesting he's running a bit more wing than others. That would be why he struggled to get by Botas even with DRS.
