What was this about? I arrived home when the race was finished, so forgive me for asking...

Kimi was in trouble with the tires and Grosjean had to pass him quick so he could go away form Massa.

People will probably freak out and say "OMGGG THOSE WORDS FOR KIMI THEY WANT HIM OUTTT LOTUS BASTARDS!!" but I am almost sure everyone swears like hell over the radio.

I see. Thanks for response, Stefan. I guess that is typical of F1. Drivers are not in the best situation to respond courteously, you know. Kimi was pissed for sure...

Don't be so harsh on him. Maybe the new tyre compound simply doesn't suit his driving style so well.
Moreover, bad timing and small setup or strategy mistakes in the tightly packed upper midfield can make you look like a complete idiot in modern F1. Just ask Nico Rosberg or Romain Grosjean throughout this season. Or Fernando Alonso for that matter.
From Hero to Zero can be a small step.
Finally some words with logic...

Why not? He's the one comparing himself to Senna. At the same time his career is going downwards since his debut season, even 2008 wasn't as good as 2007 in terms of consistancy.

Then if you look at how messed up his private life is, there's not much to be happy about as a fan.

I try not to be biased about this, but I can't help myself thinking that today Lotus pretty much trashed 90% of the drivers by coming from the back of the grid to the front. Again. It happened with Kimi, now with Grosjean.

lol...just as expected...die hard fans are just that... I'm a fan too..but.. Logic is looking at trend and figuring out the central thing to the events that unfold. Even in the bridgestone years, the second half of his seasons were littered with bizarre and senseless crap. The only exception was last year, unfortunately that was when mclaren chose to drop the ball. It's all numbers....if you are going to perform some of the time, you will lose to the guy who's on his game all the time or thereabouts.
Yeah..."he's just unlucky"...complete bull****.

- Lotus killed the race before it began, RG had enough pace and durability on softs to maybe bother RB. Plus lowest top speed. They "miscalculated" cut off and the whole season by a large margin but you can't BS forever. 99% of audience and experts should eat a fat crow.
- Hamilton always ;-) loses at starts, Rosberg is clumsy and can't overtake so it was over early, Red Bull took care of the rest, Webber's car fell apart - genius Newey
- Raikkonen's driving towards the end - pathetic,
- Perez had at last "his" race, this is partly why they hired him (told you in SillySeason)
- nice to see hypocritical, verbal advocates of high standards of driving (Raikk, Webb, Alon) bumping into each other at the start
- Massa's "I don't care about your tactics" approach worked, yay, move on 2 Mercedes cars was the crucial point

I wonder how long it will take for everybody to understand that the ability to overtake in modern F1 has almost exclusively to do with the chosen setup (i.e. gearing and DF/drag level).
Red Bull took care of the rest, Webber's car fell apart - genius Newey
There is no such thing as a free lunch...
RB is quick because Newey squeezes everything to the limit.
Have a driver who is a tiny bit harder on equipment - et voilà !
Perez had at last "his" race, this is partly why they hired him
Agreed, good job of him.

Had to happen one day when you jump for the (non existing yet - but hopefully emerging) gap every time.
Just the question when. Now we know it was today.

It a common tactic for teams to include expletives in radio calls that they don't want broadcast.

They did it in Korea too, Romain was told to have a "big --- smile" on the podium after the argument about track position with Kimi.

The best way to sum up what he did on Grosjean is "dick move" imo.

with the car characteristics they have, they always have a chance to win big when they gamble.
A couple of times they underdelivered on their potential this season.

In Suzuka for example Grosjean would've had a better shot if he stuck with options for another stint.

His tires were gone and he couldn't keep the car properly. He was aware of RoGro coming strong from behind (hence the radio communication) but was waiting for a good place to move away because he could have f***ed up everything if the did something at the wrong time.

Oh you've seen the light, unlike other fanboys. How are these last four races different for Lewis than start of the season.
Whole season was nothing special from him. If it's because he's regressed or just because it's his first year at the team that was --- last season we'll see next season.
