it is by far still the biggest and most contested FSAE event in the world...and so far of all the foreign teams only the Aussies have beaten the American teams.....while sadly for the Brits they haven't won a F-student yet.....wowf1 wrote:lol 'World Champs'. Do you know how many other Formula Student competitions there are elsewhere in the world? That reminds me of your baseball 'World Series', confined only to the USA...
With what, 60 people and a massive budget?Cornell Racer#1 wrote:CORNELL FSAE baby!! 9 Times WORLD Champs!!
Before you *try* to bash other's ignorant, it might help to cease being ignorant yourself. The World Series is not confined "only to the USA."wowf1 wrote:lol 'World Champs'. 60 people?? pshhhhh!AeroGT3 wrote:With what, 60 people and a massive budget?Cornell Racer#1 wrote:CORNELL FSAE baby!! 9 Times WORLD Champs!!
That's like Renault bragging about winning the WC with Super Aguri only being 2 pts behind. Considering the resources that are literally thrown at Cornell, they actually have quite a poor team.

Haven't you seen the 80 or so people walking around with Virginia Tech shirts???![]()
I respect Cornell greatly. They established a great formula for success. Minimal changes year to year, sticking with what works. How many teams do you see performing a ground-up re-design each and every year...and they wonder why they don't finish the endurance.
Great design + reliability + decent drivers = Winning. It's pretty simple really...
Instead of bashing other teams just coz they're better year after year than teams like yours, you might want to do more research on the team and how much they ACTUALLY get funded! Not much!! We all work hard at the most rigorous engineering program in the nation and spend weekends after weekends in the machine shop to make our cars THE best!AeroGT3 wrote:With what, 60 people and a massive budget?Cornell Racer#1 wrote:CORNELL FSAE baby!! 9 Times WORLD Champs!!

No need for luck and don't believe in one either!flynfrog wrote:you forgot the luck variableslimjim8201 wrote:60 people?? pshhhhh!AeroGT3 wrote: With what, 60 people and a massive budget?
