At the 1984 Canadian GP, the Brablam BT53 turned up with this nose-job, what was it all about and why didn't Nelson like it?

Brabham developed a new frontal oil cooler positioned in the nose of the car. Nelson Piquet immediately won that race but did so with burnt feet, as the temperatures in the cockpit rose immensely because of the added oil cooler.

The first car was scheduled to be called the 911 but German car company Porsche objected to the use of a number they called their own. He protested about the cost of changing all his promotional material and as a result he got a Porsche 911 for all his troubles!

?Who?

That would be Eddie Jordan and the Jordan 911 of 1991. I believe it was his first car for F1 and the nomenclature was derived from '91 F1. It was changed to 191.

For resolving a dispute with a cab driver by using pepper spray on the man.

As an aside, here is the Jordan 191 with Michael Schumacher behind the wheel.

As a side note Stefan Johansson, who had driven for Jordan in F2, was promised a seat but then de Cesaris and Gachot showed up with a lot of money and that did it. Eddie was always cheap with drivers, even when he had factory engines from Peugeot.

Nothing could have prepared Patrick Head, now co-owner of the Williams F1 team but then a young car designer, for the morning when he inadvertently walked into the wrong pit garage.

He found Hunt inside, not quite believing what he had seen.

A few minutes later, Hunt left the garage and went around the side to carry out his pre-race ritual of vomiting — the result of extreme nerves combined with overindulgence.
What Hunt was doing?
