Which McLaren F1 driver made it to a World Sportscar Championship podium together with an established Hollywood actor?

Which driver, what actor, car driven, which race and who won the same race?

Those were the days, can you visualize Mark Webber and Thomas Cruise Mapother IV on the podium next year?

Btw, Mario only overtook Revson on the last lap.

Back to you mr Wales!

As the 48 hour rule still applies, I'll pick it up myself, who was the last US-born driver to win an F1 GP?

Driver, race and car please.

Right, for a goldstar, an american team could have won that race, why didn't they?

US team in that era = Shadow, as to why... ? Safety car was first deployed in that race ('73 Canadian GP) which picked up the wrong leader, so due to this, Shadow lost out?
Great qu btw, Andretti immediately springs to mind, but he wasn't born in the US, I guessed Revson and McLaren from your previous qu, but Sombrero beat me to it!

Could have been so, but some people still believe that Jackie O was robbed by the pace-car's confusion.

You still have the baton though Sombrero, hit us with your best shot!

This just was on latest Peters Windsdors show TFL when he interview Fittipaldi. The answer is Denny Hulme, Argentina GP FP, 1974.

Just an insert; What was Denny's comment after winning the 1973 Swedish GP, when overtaking Ronnie on the last lap?

You mean probably that classical racing quote :

“Now, when you’re a Swede and you look as though you’re about to win the Swedish Grand Prix, you don’t stand any nonsense from bears,”
