Driver speculation posts have been removed, there is a "silly season" thread for this.

Great with another scandinavian driver. And yes I am too very happy to see Koba back. And perhaps Caterham can surprise this year. Im really beginning to like this team :-)

Caterham must improve in 2014, there's no reason they shouldn't be able to push in to the midfield this season.

They didnt rly do anything with 2013 car and it was almost the 2012 car so they have rly put alot of time into this years car. Hopefully that pays off.

Good news for them surely. Last couple of seasons we have seen upgrades that just dont seem to upgrade performance.
I would also love to see what kobayashi can do with the torquey V6 motor. I sense some wild over steer moments....

Ted Kravitz on Sky Sports News has just said Caterham will be the first team to fire up Renault's engine tomorrow. He said that this means Red Bull hasn't even started up the new engine yet but I'm sure they have worked close enough with Renault to know what to expect.

Having listened to an interview he just had with sky sports he said it was a "pivotal year" he was asked if he can survive financial if they cannot get a point or dont get that 10th spot. and his response was "there comes a point where coming last all the time ...... you dont really wana do that"

I feel some spin went on in that comment lol.

But what he did say is that they concentrated all their efforts on this car and spent nothing on improving 2012 car. They have new people who have come in from big teams who have seen their project and basically had reason for optimism.

so i think what can be taken from the interview is that caterham fully expect to be allot more competitive.
