Andrew Murdoch is the new race engineer for Massa. That why here we deal with facts and not speculation.
Smedley is heading to Williams on a senior role. Head of race engineering team. Nothing to do with Massa being at the team...

As long as there is no confirmation it should not be in the topic. As simple as that.
Irvine:"If you don't have a good car you can't win it, unless you are Michael or Senna. Lots of guys won in Adrian Newey's cars, big deal. Adrian is the real genius out there, there is Senna, there is Michael and there is Newey. They were the three great talents."

Distinct, noticeable lack of "To Enstone" in that list. Hopefully just chance.

Pilbeam leaves Lotus to join McLaren

Incidentally I was wondering the other day if he might regret his decision to leave RB for Lotus. I guess not.

If I had a mortgage, I wouldn't want to work at a place that can't pay me on time either.

At this point, anyone left at Lotus must feel really unwanted.

Besides Prodromou and Pilbeam, Jonathan Neale confirmed Dan Fallows, Ettore Griffini: "“There’s a huge amount of talent and potential already extant within the organisation, but there’s always more to discover. And we’ve made some very important key additions who’ll have a significant input into our future momentum – we’re incredibly pleased and excited to have hired the likes of Peter Prodromou and Dan Fallows, both from Red Bull Racing, and Ettore Griffini and Ciaron Pilbeam from Lotus, as well as more than a dozen top-level engineers from among the best teams in Formula 1, all of whom have seen the capacity and potential that exists here at McLaren.
