The Mercedes F1 team has announced a new partnership with fan and motor provider ebm-papst. ebm-papst has developed off-board cooling solutions for the team's racing cars, in addition to working closely with the team to improve the garage working environment at Grand Prix venues through custom-built heat extraction and cooling solutions which will be introduced later in the 2014 season.

I've followed Hamilton from the start of his F1 career and I think Nico is probably his strongest opponent yet, Alonso could have been but he didn't have the best season in 2007. He did put on a good show. Nico is one of Lewis's strongest teammates yet. =D>
But Rosberg had every advantage to beat Lewis yesterday in his arsenal (start from Pole on the clean side, better tire strategy, gifted safety car, etc.) and he just couldn't get it done.
Nico took it like a pro imo. He was clearly dissapointed but hats off to him for his maturity. I agree that if Alonso was in that other 'Kraken' Lewis might have been passed. I say might. I wouldn't say that. Lewis has had tough competition from all but Heikki just in different ways. Button was smarter over a race distance and was a different/difficult challenge for Lewis.
Lewis is at home with this sort of racing and i don't think Rosberg has the race craft to beat him at it. As you say he had everything in his favour to beat Lewis and didn't. I think there are a few drivers who would of beat him yesterday (not because they are better but because Lewis was there to be beaten). The drivers that smell blood and take it - Alonso etc.
Not taking anything from Lewis though
The thing for me is where does Nico go from here, his had two disappointing weekends against Lewis who has.....i want to say wiped the floor with him but that would be incorrect. But you know what I mean. He either can't keep up or he can't overtake.
Nico must think how do i beat this guy.
I'm not so sure about this. He did ok through the podium interviews, but in the paddock interview with sky, it seemed like he was ready to explode. In one of the Sky F1 interviews Nico said something along the lines of "Shanghai will be my win" with a very determined look, I think Lewis could accept being beaten by Nico if he performed better than him but Nico's definitely getting a bit more frustrated with every session.dans79 wrote:
Lewis is leading 2 to 1 in both qualifying and races. The only thing Nico has over right now is the lead in WDC. If Lewis gets that, I think we will see a complete change in Nico's demeanor. He will either fall back into a typical #2 role, or go hyper aggressive and self destruct, similar to Lewis 2011.
