I'd be very careful with trying to get info out what is merely a picture. Some darker lighting, a movement in facial expression, etc, and the picture looks completely different. Not saying it's right or wrong, but just don't try to read too much in it.

Are they building miniature model of the track to recreate the accident?

Rosberg as a defence should use GPS, the one that gave him the wrong time earlier in the season, it would
probably show he wasn't there at all at the time of the incident.

Phil wrote:Does anyone have the sector times of the best laps of Q3? Hamiltons lap was only .059s short, so extremely tight there. With Rosberg out and Hamilton at least beating his personal best in S1, I guess it could have been a done deal (especially considering Nico's S1 was down on his own provisional pole by over a tenth).
Based on the data here:
http://www.fia.com/championship/fia-for ... nformation

Hamilton's best 3 sectors would have put him on a 1:15.981 - beating Rosberg by 0.008s.

How long does it usually take them to announce their decisions on things like this?

Hypothetically speaking, from now on you could get pole then spin or out brake your self into a corner, sit for a while to cause a yellow flag and keep your pole…

Under yellow flag conditions in qualifying, the countdown timer should be stopped in my opinion to give people a chance to get another lap in.

It feels a bit rotten than there was no chance of any further pole times being set after the yellow flag.

There's a surprise: telemetry and not driver's sour face is taken into consideration. Now let's wait for apologies for calling Rosberg names.

No one would have got another lap in here. There were only 40 seconds left on the clock, no where near enough to get round and start your lap.

Good for HAM, now he can shove him in the wall in the first corner. Cool Senna-style.

Lets hope Lewis calms down over night, and doesn't do something truly stupid.

If the countdown timer is stopped for about 30 seconds, you can make it almost round. But that's assuming they have enough fuel onboard.
