Hamilton owned Rosberg at the start. Rosberg gave him no room whatsoever and Lewis did the sensible thing to avoid a double dnf for Merc. Nico sets the precedent, but can he abide by the standard he sets when left in a similar situation ?
Education is that which allows a nation free, independent, reputable life, and function as a high society; or it condemns it to captivity and poverty.

Hamilton requested a lot of power at the restart and got a reply to use "strat 5" for 1 lap only.

Same as HAM did in the past to Nico.

From AS
There was no contact between the Mercedes though and it was similar to their Bahrain GP dice so shouldn't - in theory - be any complaints.

Hardly. At last Rosberg is showing some character, he lost the start -> very late breaking, then he had inside line and left LH no space.
As for precedents - Bahrain was much worse from Hamilton

I know the picture is of Bianchi, but it's an artistic choice.

that LH overtake was more like lapping Vettel... I wonder if he even tried to delay it at least a little

If there was a 107% rule for top speed, that Red Bull would be out.

Yup still looks like ~100HP. Seems Renault didn't improve much if at all.

might as well be that single lap "lot of power" setting on LH car and "normal" on the Vettels, since he knows he has no chance at all at that 2nd place anyway

Seeing that he can barely keep up with Hulk's STR even with DRS open I tend to assume it is more fundamental than that.

Ros is going to have to give that position up. He gained enough of an advantage that Ham couldn't use his DRS in the 2nd zone. That's an unambiguous advantage. Would they give him a drive-through for the advantage and now holding up Ham?
