Until they deliver equal pitstop times, they need to keep their grubby hands off fixing the race result.
I'm starting to feel that Lewis should be back at McLaren come 2016. Whitmarsh was the only issue there, at least the drivers raced to win at all times.
For Sure!!

... But as Ringo mentioned, to me Mclaren felt more "open" in terms of letting drivers race then Mercedes.
They have way to much control over the racing but i hope that changes when they get the WCC.

As goofy as Iotar is, I have to agree about Hamilton fans constant whining. I've never seen anything resembling favortism of any driver at Merc. I'm a Ferrari fan, so I have no dog in the fight, but I've been unimpressed by some of Hamilton's comments but, I think he has the edge in raw pace over 1 bonzai lap. In race trim, though, I've seen nothing to seperate them.

From GB:
Peter Bonnington to Lewis Hamilton in lap 6: OK Lewis, gap now 5.4. Loss to Nico, braking, turn six [Brooklands].

Peter Bonnington to Lewis Hamilton in lap 9: So Nico braking later, turn 15. And half tenth faster, sector one. Gap at 5.5. You are in your Safety Car window.

From Austria:
Peter Bonnington to Lewis Hamilton: OK so in terms of aero balance Nico is half a turn more forwards on aero balance. But he is two front bars stiffer. So more forward on mechanical, more understeer mechanically, but he has half a turn more aero balance. He is reporting car is quite oversteery at the moment. That’s where he’s at.

Peter Bonnington to Lewis Hamilton in lap 50: You are both in the same position so it will need management. So losing a little bit of time in turn six and eight. Just have a think about your diff high speed.

Peter Bonnington to Lewis Hamilton in lap 53: So just losing out six and seven. Gap is at 1.6. And brakes are good. So apex speed five and six, just Nico carrying a little more.
That is not setup data. That is just driving methods.

IMO, Not enough trouble free races to see how the drivers compare in absolute pace. In Qualy HAM has made too many mistakes, especially while being ahead. In race, so far Rosberg has never caught and beat Hamilton on equal grounds. With that said I am giving it five more races before I come to my conclusions on raw pace in Q and Race.

Rosberg radio message: "Driving advice?"

His engineer gave him advice you'd probably expect him to work out himself, effectivly, have a better exit!

Look at i this way Mclaren was never in a situation where they would finish 1-2 by default and all they needed to do was not screw it up.
Usually there were multiple cars between Button and Hamilton, so the calls were more based on who is around them then in what Lewis/Jenson is doing.

When Alonso/Hamilton where challenging just each other for the win Mclaren was very strict on their tactics.

Lewis and Nico not showing their hand all the time during FP, it's so obvious  . Merc won't be happy, but they have to accept it.

Nico seems a lot more worried about the loss of FRIC than Lewis.

I remembered that Lewis wasn't happy with FRIC in 2013.
