McLaren MP4-30 Pre-launch Speculation

its not the 29 thats for sure.

- On the 29 the roll hoop from the side is different: The space underneath extends further back - here this gap is tiny. There is only a single support too.
- The housing space along the side of the tub looks different
- The fuel flap area shape is totally different

If anything, the last one gives it away that it is an old car because of the head protection area is missing (the shape difference). Looks a bit like the 20?

That is a West livery so it has to be before 2006. IMO it looks like MP4-19.

So its not an MP-30. I knew the f1t detectives would sort it out . The silver part did look more metallic white in the picture, which I thought might have been a way of getting the white Honda colours in there if it was an MP-30

Woking's unchanging Space Odyssey interior makes it hard to spot the difference between ancient and recent pics. The monitor on the left side of the pic looks very chuncky, is it a CRT? It back up the comments about the pic being very old.

It's an LCD, If you look closely you'll see it blends in with the beam structure on the walls/windows. I'm hoping McLaren will tease the MP4-30 with something a bit more upto date and recent.
