Only the Mercedes low on pressures.
So they only measured the Mercs and Ferraris? Seems like a fair deal...
Yeah bit unfair, what about Williams? Or all the other teams for that matter? You can't measure one thing like that and not measure it for all teams.
Not all measurements are done to all cars at the same time in the same session. Like a TSA random search.

Wrong tires last race have been a drive through. I guess that will be the result due to political reasons. But a DSQ would also be possible like Ric last year. I do not see anything speaking against these two possibilities, no penalty will not happen if the pressure was really too low and not a measurement error or disagreement on how to measure.

This happens all the time. They check some cars for some stuff, some cars for other stuff. Pointless argument you're starting there.

For ---'s sake. Is it not possible for this series to go through ONE race without controversy?

Funny thing is: this was never a rule. It is recommendation by Pirelli. There is no obligation for the teams to follow them, let alone being the result a DSQ

This seems more like a backlash against the recent PR problems Piralli have beeng facing

lol

Nice work by @tedkravitz - seeking out Pat Symonds to explain what happens when you break the rules in #F1. Oh, the irony of it all... #F1

Of course it is an obligation. They have to be within the camber, pressure, etc range set at the beginning of the GP.

This is a rule and not a recommendation

Then please show me the rule. Because so far, every professional in the grid seems to talk about "recommandations".
Currently Lauda explains it is not even properly defined when the measurement has to take place.

Well he has many experiences in this area.

Anyway, i don't see a time penalty since this would be a tech infringement not a sporting one, either DSQ or nothing.

That is the problem when you have too many rules.

I remember Pirelli finding out teams switching left and right tires and that got banned.
