Hello,

Just found this forum

I have booked some cheap flights to Barcelona for the second part of the F1 test, never been before, do you really need to buy advanced circuit tickets or just turn up, any tips or info appreciated as there is little to be had that I can find?

Have taken a look at the circuit ticket page, are the €50 Guided visit ones worth it for maybe for the first day, no info on them apart from the price?

Where is best to find info on who's driving each day in Barcelona?

Thanks

I hope you´re right and Pirelly will be finally able to built some decent intermediate and full rain tyres!! let´s give no more excuses to Whiting to ruin the races!.

As for tickets, not sure anymore. I know that at Jerez you could still buy them at the circuit. I guess that'll be the same for Barcelona, but not sure.

In recent years at Jerez, the guided tours passed through the media centre, the podium, and I think also the pitlane during lunch break.

Who drivers when? I will list that before each of the two tests. Right now, that's not completely known.

I went to the first Barcelona test last year, we just paid at the gate. As for guided visit tickets, we didnt bother, we just made our own way round and spent 30mins or so at certain points. And as for who's driving, i think you can only wait until nearer the time and let the teams announce what they are doing.

One of the most interesting test seasons in years is coming up.

Themes to watch:

Has McHonda managed to get their act together?
Where can we expect Haas to fit in to the grid?
How about Manor - will they still be the bottom of the field?
How about Renault - can they have a decent 2016 or is it a truck?
Toro Rosso - how do they perform with Ferrari PU?

And driver themes for the regular season:
K-Mag vs Palmer?
Can Grosjean shine @Haas?
MC Hamilton vs Britney - part IV
Will we miss Maldonado?

K-Mag is sparking a lot more generel interest in F1 in Denmark. Now even the accountant girls at my workplace are discussing F1 over the lunchtable. Maybe not tech stuff  but anyway...

Answers will begin to emerge in a few weeks :D
