Themes to watch:

Has McHonda managed to get their act together?
Where can we expect Haas to fit in to the grid?
How about Manor - will they still be the bottom of the field?
How about Renault - can they have a decent 2016 or is it a truck?
Toro Rosso - how do they perform with Ferrari PU?

And driver themes for the regular season:
K-Mag vs Palmer?
Can Grosjean shine @Haas?
MC Hamilton vs Britney - part IV
Will we miss Maldonado?

K-Mag is sparking a lot more generel interest in F1 in Denmark. Now even the accountant girls at my workplace are discussing F1 over the lunchtable. Maybe not tech stuff  but anyway...

Answers will begin to emerge in a few weeks :D
Personal opinion - the opposite, one of the most boring and predictable. I'd reduce themes to watch to:
- Ferrari Merc gap and McL
not expecting anything spectacular, meaning Merc in front and McL behind let's say RB

- Haas - who cares, bottom three
- Palmer vs Magnussen - draw because inexperienced drivers will be indirectly blamed for development problems after 10 races, this also answers missing Maldo part ;-)
- Rosberg - Ham - have you seen '15 circus? Hopefully Ferrari will be close enough so they won't be able to play games. Although it can work the other way with 2 drivers to 1 situation that means they already won WCC but WDC can be problematic.

I see they got rid of Jerez which answers last year's question: why keep this useless test.

I really wish they would show it all. I mean they have 2 presenters there and a few camera's, id be happy with a static camera set up at turn 1 and turn 9 and just leave it live for the whole test.

This is OT post, but I'm pissed off as we are only 12 days till the start of the pre-season testing and we've only seen one car so far .....

When it should be free and promoting as much as possible, even offering Channel 4 an evening highlights package for nothing just to hype up the fact that they're covering it in 2016 and get some viewer feedback.

yeah, zero cars essentially;
I think even the die hard fans are now reconsidering... very quiet pre-season. YAWN!

I hope there's some reasonable live timing.
I do really miss the days of e.g. http://www.f1tests.co.cc. That was amazing. The layout was very similar to one the teams use on the pitwall, IIRC. It's a shame that I haven't saved any screenshot.

Agree about the timing, it really helped get your own sense of what people were doing, over and above what the pundits are saying.

What exactly are the die hard fans reconsidering?
