14:57 Fernando Alonso has just left the McLaren hospitality unit. I'm told there was a control electronics issue and the telemetry just disappeared when he stopped out on track at the end of the morning session. It looks to be rectified and he should be back out soon.

Well that's what some idiots were saying when McLaren broke down last time.
Absolutely. Or we could perhaps consider how many laps that Mercedes did before it stopped. Or for that matter, the rate of reliability issues in combination with on track performance in testing and their last season. Hmm... yes, indeed the severity of both breakdowns and the potential resulting of off-time in testing are absolutely identical for both teams, right? Thought so.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

It's like Hamilton said: when other teams see what we have, they try to do it themselves ;)

Snowy, where are you getting this info from?! I'm clutching at straws trying to find Williams testing data (and teams around their position in the pecking order)! Almost every site I've got open (about 10) talks only about Merc, Fer, McL and RBR. It's like no one else exists!!!

From Autosport live

19:48 New personal best first sector for Bottas on that lap, but he comes across the line half a second shy of his best. Of note, he's on the hard tyres - which we haven't seen much due to low temperatures for most of testing.

Got that one open (and Autosport Vas), but can't find stint times like Snowy is quoting there.

I'll check f1today and AMuS, as I noticed him quote those 2 two pages ago.

Rosberg also said last year in testing his 1.22,8 on softs wasn't a good time, as in he's certain other teams can beat it. The guy sandbags so much it's getting too obvious now.
Yea. Merc are going to run train on the field this year...

Not that I'm unexcited for the season. Can't wait, in fact. Maybe Ferrari can pester them again like last year.... don't have my hopes up though.

Bottas second 0,763 seconds behind Rosberg, theoretically with the same tyres. He has been faster than the German in the first sector.
