cars u wanted to build

Post

if u could build any car u always wanted to build wat is it????

If you people have ever played HALO for the xbox u should no the vehicle im talkin bout. It is called a warthog, it is AWD it sort of looks like a jeep but it aint. It has a T-top and ima build two versions one with a huge machine gun built right in the back and its only gonna be for military use and the the one without the gun which u can buy for about the same price as a hummer h1 or h2 ill decide later. 8)

if u want to see it go to this website....

http://www.microsoft.com/games/halo/gal ... hicles.asp

then go to very bottom of the page and theres the pic but imagin it bein a real vehicle, im gonna accomplish that. :)

'70's Dodge Challenger. Already have a 440 EHP engine to put in.

Kit-car; Marauder McLaren replica using a Ford 2300cc I-4 SOHC pushing around 300BHP, 375BHP if I can manage it safely.

Don't want the replica blowing an engine the real McLaren! Ouch!

Humm....well I have 3 dreams.....

1st - to work in F1

2nd - to create the first portuguese F1 Team, and design the car (something like Nick Wirth did with Simtek)

3rd - design and build the first portuguese car to race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans (IST university tried to do it a few years back, but lack of funds ended the project)

So for me the cars I'd like to design and build my own "inventions"!

So far I've built prototypes for the Shell Eco-Marathon!...it's a start! But in any case my team is like Minardi....we're the smallest team in the paddock (2 elements-me and the driver)....I design and built everything....some parts aren't machined by me but in any case the composites and chassis are 100% Correra Racing....the transmission parts and steering is built to Correra Racing specifications....and the brakes and engine are off-the-shelf parts!

Me and some friends are trying to built
a "home made" car that will look like a F1 car!
We have design it and it will look "probably" like
Ferrari's F1-2000 8) 8) But it will 2 times the weight
and 1/3 the BHP (350 BHp)

Just for fun!!
Where shoul I race it!
There is no single race tracks in a radius of 400km around my town!
The nearest is Imola!
We haven't solved the suspention yet!
The ordinary suspension is to week (soft) to be used like in a F1 car!
Maybe it will be outside not in the bodywork like in F1!
But it will look stupid!
Oh, and the tires are a problem! We want F1 tires, but i don't know
where to get them!
