Nope.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Considering Mclaren is so slow on the straights that must be one superior chassis.

Renault, the car is not good and the drivers are not good. As a result they end up being so much behind RedBull with the same engine...

#ShiteBanana. Anyways, Lewis is the only driver to not have improved on FP2 time. Those Renaults were getting in everyone's way today!

I'll just leave this here:

Image

Speeds posted by red bulls in fp3 are also higher across the board than what any car managed last year in qualifying:

Improvement in top speeds for renault compared to last year:
S1 + 8kmh
S2 + 9kmh
S3 + 8kmh

That's some serious gains right there. And it's FP3.

Curious that McLaren didn't use the US to set their best times.

Redbulls did the time with SS, correct? Hembery said that lower temperature closes the gap between different tyres

No. As they put on US, it started to rain and also both had heavy traffic. VES did his fastest lap on US, but under light rain and he was waving at other drivers on that lap. There is still alot to come from RBR. Also they will use S und US in the race, as both drivers used their last set of SS at the beginning of FP3.

That's going to be an interesting qualify, if it is dry i'm betting on Hamilton with 1'12,4

And the fact that Max was the only car on brand new ultra softs makes his time have a huge asterix next to it.... its amusing as hell reading red bull fans come up with creative excuses as to how much red bulls engine is turned down and how vettel must be running his engine at its max just because he set a better time in practice.. some of you should be in politics with all the spin going on.
All questions will be answered in a few minutes in quali... if vettel qualifies ahead of the red bulls im curious to see what the spin will be then lol

As far as I have understood Ferrari new PU won't have more horsepower, but will allow to give more energy from MGU-H to MGU-K, so it won't have a big impact on VET and RAI time today.
