So running a turbo at 125000 rpm does not produce more power than running a turbo at 100000 rpm?(rpm is an example)...
makes zero sense.
May not be an earth shattering power gain but common sense says that the engine should make more power along with gains in production of electricity
Reports said the engine as a whole was detuned..... i dont think Kimi has the new turbo and compressor fitted to his car

Jennie Gow saying that Magnusen won't make Qualifying as there was too much damage to the car. Possibly a pit lane start

Power is limited from the MGU-H to MGU-K, energy is not. More energy will always translate to more power over a given distance, because it increases efficiency.

That onboard camera of Grosjean looks awesome. Reminds me of the old onboards from the 80s and 90s where everything just looks more exciting.

And yet FOM has managed to make it look dull and slow.

The FOV chosen by FOM is too narrow, if they made it more fish eye lens it would look mental.

Yep, they could strap a GoPro to the car and it would be way more exciting looking.

Well at least it was close. I think Vettel even left some time on the table in final chicane. Didn't really clout those kerbs as much as in practice.

Yes. As did Lewis on his last error strewn lap. I was looking forward to seeing a challenge for the lap record

I think the Mercedes had more potential left on their second run. Nico ruined his lap in corner 1 and i am not sure of Hamilton then aborted his or took it a bit more easy... everyone else improved on their 2nd run despite the Mercs.

Then again, Canada is somewhat of a drivers circuit. Any street circuit is. A lot of time to be made by driving that closer to the limit or over...
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II
