Yes there is. It's next to the handbrake they use in sharp turns like here in Canada.

You can see on Rosberg's onboard the moment that he pulls the handbrake to try to go around Verstappen. Unfortunately it didn't work very well.

The simple fact of the matter is that transmission technology has evolved quite a bit over the last 25-30 years, and many of the components traditionally associated with their construction have been replaced with modern solutions that are far more efficient.
