Sauber C35 Ferrari

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Did Sauber already used this 'W-shaped' rear wing? They didn't use it in Bahrain and Canada so I guess it's new...

The only real difference is they now use a y-shaped rear support while on the C33 they had two pillars. Other than a different support structure it looks just like the one used on the C33 when I compare the pictures. But hey, if it works!

Sauber will not Race the new RW and Monkey Seat. They only try it out in FP1 to check if their Data matches with the Wind Tunnel. Should be part of a bigger Upgrade Package later in the Season.

it was done to test the driver visibility, since they are planning to raise the cars front for next year.

So, the aero package will be coming in Hungary. Interesting to hear that they haven't upgraded the car all year long. Yet, came close to scoring points in Austria. I could see them scoring points in Hungary if the Soft compound works for them like it did in Austria.
